Already knew? Sour cherries are so sweet and sour because they contain large amounts of natural fruit acid. However, this is only the beginning of the vitamin dance in our red berry mix.

The secret stars are the strawberries and blackcurrants. Both fresh fruits contain more vitamin C than lemons. Just 60 g of fresh blackcurrants are enough to cover the daily requirements of an adult.

And the red currant with the cranberry? They round off our berry mixture perfectly in terms of taste. Because unlike the sweet and sour sour cherry, red currants and cranberries have a tart acidity that stands out quite nicely from the other flavors.

They also work exceptionally well in moist cakes; Pastries that are particularly juicy. Simply add our berry mix to the dough as a topping and are a fruity addition to the delicately melting cake.

Psst, trade secret: In order to preserve our sour cherries and their friends for a long time, we send them into space. Or at least almost. Because our fruit is dried using a vacuum. We put the berries deep-frozen in the almost vacuum space and thus remove over 95% of their water. This makes them as crunchy as chips and at the same time keeps almost all of the nutrients in the fruit.

Now all you have to do is store them properly. Protect your red fruits from moisture and sunlight. Then they stay crunchy and aromatic for many months. So always pack them well and put them in the cupboard with them. When you take them out for a snack, it's best to use our classically designed onesrefill glasses, because they are as safe and at least as beautiful as grandma's preserving jar.
