Did you know that the little blue fruit has over 15 different names in this country? They are called blueberries, blueberries or wild berries and differ in their occurrence and properties. For our freeze-dried blueberries we use the wild variety from the forest.

The small berries look pretty and shine with their blue color. Anthocyanins, the plant pigments, are to blame for this. You can see how much of it is in the wild blueberry by the richly colored flesh. Cultivated blueberries cannot keep up with their bright interior.

Did you know that mangoes have been cultivated in distant India for over 4,000 years? People there also know it as the fruit of the gods and the large superfruit has this title for good reason. Mangoes contain a lot of vitamin C. There is also vitamin B6, minerals such as potassium and important fiber. Man, that’s a lot of micronutrients!

We make sure of this because our mangoes see plenty of sun until the last moment before harvest, before we send them for gentle freeze-drying. Portioned into bite-sized portions, fruity, delicious and naturally filling - thanks to the fiber - our mangos end up in the fruit pack. When freshly harvested, they are freeze-dried directly so that the valuable vitamins, minerals and the taste experience of the strawberries are retained - over several months. Fresh fruits, on the other hand, are, as you know, only edible for a few days.
