Did you know that the EU regulates what goes into chocolate? According to the cocoa regulations, these are vegetable fats such as palm oil, possibly a little cow's milk and of course sugar. This is way too much for us! Ultimately, we want to offer you a real taste experience made from 100% nature.

That's why we don't use any additives to coat our bananas and use nothing but cocoa beans for the dark coating - no added fats, no emulsifiers, no artificial sweeteners.

The natural ingredients of ripely harvested bananas and roasted cocoa beans are solely responsible for the combination of wonderful sweetness and delicately bitter cocoa aromas. Because that's all you need for a noble sweet.

The ideal time

Bananas taste best when they are allowed to remain on the tree until they are fully ripe. Only fruits that shine as golden yellow as the sun over the banana fields are harvested. The Grand Crú noble bean, which contains very little cadmium (>0.35 mg/kg), provides the cocoa part.

Further processing without intermediate steps

The ripe bananas are flash-frozen immediately after harvesting and placed in a vacuum. So they lose their water and not their taste. Meanwhile, our cocoa beans are gently roasted for around 40 hours. The chocolate made from it is created without alkalinization in the Dutch process. Completely without chemicals.

Last step: We chocolate. However, we don't just dip half of the banana into the cocoa. We cover their entire surface with the delicious glaze. So no matter how or where you take a bite, you will always enjoy fruit and cocoa. You can test this yourself, because in this step our little treat will be ready for its way to you.
