But isn't there something missing from the Empire? Exactly - and that's why we make pancakes. Not German pancakes, but thick and fluffy, like they are served in the USA. Top with a dash of maple syrup (for Canada).

If stored correctly, our nut & fruit mix stays crisp and fresh for many weeks. However, this is not due to any ominous preservatives, but rather because we gently remove the water from sour cherries and mangos. The process is called freeze-drying. Neither chemicals nor other additives are used. It is simply briefly very cold. Cold enough to make the fruit last for a long time and to preserve almost all of its flavors and nutrients.

You can help to ensure a long shelf life: At home, fill fruits and nuts into a container with a secure lid and put it in the cupboard. Our refill jars with the snap closure. They make dry and airtight storage child's play - and they look stylish too.
