Creative nutrition with dried plums: Once a year.

Plums have been in our homes for so long that people have devised thousands of recipes. Much more than just plum cake, and enough to last a whole year.

How about welcoming the first warm rays of spring sunshine with a fruity plum sorbet? In summer, we'll travel and try North African couscous with crunchy plum pieces.

For autumn, we're adding plum dumplings. If you like something savory, you can also add spicy smoked tofu. And in winter? Baked apple, of course. Garnished with vanilla sauce and crunchy plum bites! Purple, red, and gold. Spring can wait.

Long-lasting, completely without additives.

To preserve their plums, our grandmothers would can them. This works quite well, but the fruits lose some of their nutrients and flavor in the process. That's why we take a different approach: We gently freeze-dry the plums – without any heat or chemicals. This way, many of the vitamins and flavor remain in the fruit. All it loses is water. And without water, a plum can be kept for a particularly long time.

How long, you want to know? For many, many weeks. You just have to store them properly. Protect our freeze-dried plums from air and moisture, especially. You can simply leave them in their container and store them in the cupboard. Or you can do what Grandma did and use our beautiful refill jars with preserving lids. Because let's be honest: Our plums are real eye-catchers. It would be a shame to let them disappear into the cupboard.
