Did you know that the little blue fruit has over 15 different names in this country? They are called blueberries, blueberries or wild berries and differ in their occurrence and properties. For our freeze-dried blueberries we use the wild variety from the forest.

The small berries look pretty and shine with their blue color. Anthocyanins, the plant pigments, are to blame for this. You can see how much of it is in the wild blueberry by the richly colored flesh. Cultivated blueberries cannot keep up with their bright interior.

Our freeze-dried blueberries remain almost natural. Through gentle freeze-drying, they retain their natural taste and valuable ingredients.
